A doctor admits a pregnant woman into the psyche board against her will because he fears she is a threat to her unborn baby yet these same doctors will perform late-term abortions..... how does this make any sense? I'm not trying to make a political statement, I'm just trying to understand the legality of it.

case by case honey.

A person that chooses abortion has to be 100% in their right mind.

If a doctor is fearing that a women will hurt her unborn child because of some sort of chemical inbalance, then that is different.

apples and oranges may be round, but they have distinct flavors.

Abortion is a woman's choice, but if she is crazy then she may not know what she wants. I don't believe in late term abortion unless it poses a threat to the life of the mother. Yes, it may sound selfish but no sense in leaving a child without a mother and if they are performing a late term abortion there is probably something very wrong with the baby. As for all you people who are offended by the fact that abortion is legal, nobody is asking you to do it, so back off. A woman's body is her's and we have enough children in this world who need parent's, so why keep dooming them to a life of lonliness.

It is not a matter of legality I think. It is a matter of logical behavior or better yet Consistent behavior. The difference here, I think, is that a doctor will do an abortion on a women who is stable and well adjusted assuming she wants to have the abortion.

A women who is unstable and mentally ill is incapable of making those choices for themselves. So the doctor intends on taking over the mental well being of a person.

However that is not an excuse or a reason.

If you are sane and choose to have an abortion it is different than if you are severely depressed or mentally ill and try to hurt yourself and the baby. If the doctors can control the depression or mental illness the mother may be fine with the pregnancy and stop trying to hurt herself and the baby.

Hope that helps.

Either the doctor has some issues or really just likes to kill full-term babies. i mean they do that by delivering the baby breach and then stabbing something in the back of the skull while it's head is still inside the mom - that's what i was told anyways. i thinks it gross if that's true.

It doesn't make any sense at all!! It just shows the inconsistencies in our government that occur if you take most of their policies/laws to their logical conclusions!!! In this case each issue is looked at individually and there is no effort to try and implement laws that are consistent across the board!

It doesn't make sense. The only thing I can say about these "doctors" (quacks, as I prefer to call them) is that they have some issues they need to work on.

Abortion is disgusting. It shouldn't be legal I think it is disturbing and no one should kill a life like that. Even though the baby is not born it is still living inside of you. I'm not trying to discriminate against people who have abortions, but i'm just saying that I think it is completely wrong and disturbing and should be ILLEGAL!!
