I want to email a picture to another yahoo email address, but am worried that this person could gain information about me other than my yahoo email address. Can they??

the only information that can be found is information you placed on line. emails will not allow anyone to track you and photos will do nothing but show a picture. Note your ips address although it can not be tracked back to you by anyone on the net it can be tracked through law enforcement working with your service provider. they are the only ones allowed to track you per email accounts.

well,information from your profile if any!also IP address of your computer if you are not using proxy server.such information can be gained from e-mail of almost all of the popular websites.

They can get whatever you have in your public profile. Just make sure that you don't have anything there that you don't want the world to know.

your profile in yahoo is accessible to regsitered users. if you have not provided too much info in your profile, you should be safe.
