Sensory overload. Men only close their eyes 30% of the time, but women close theirs 70% of the time. Kissing is more important, more of a sensory and emotional experience, for women than it is for men. Part of it is due to the fact that women have a more sensitive and developed limbic system in their brains.

when a person looses his or her sight all other senses become more sensitive. when we close our eyes while still conscious our other senses become more awakened in an attempt to compensate. so closing your eyes while kissing make fro a greater sensitivity of touch and heightens the pleasure

if you close your eyes all the other senses become more sensitive. So, it feels better!

if you keep them open you will go cross eyed...not a very attractive look...anyway up that close everything would be blurry so not much point keeping them open!
