When I went back to finish my degree I had a six month old a two year old and 7 year old. It is hard but if you have your mind set to it then you can do it. Get things organized, do your homework while the kids do if they don't have any give them crayons and paper to draw you a picture, get help from family and friends to help with the kids when you have big tests to study for. The kids shouldn't keep you from school they should be another reason for focusing on getting it done, it might be five yars but look at what you will be able to do for them with a college degree.

No but my father has been going to collage with two kids. I haven't asked him but he seems to handle it well. My father has a full time job and he stops by after work for some dinner and to see us. Then he goes to school part time and when he comes back he does him homework. It can be stressing but I guess it would really help if you have your husband or someone else maybe clean up a bit while your at school and work(if you work). That will take a LOT off your shoulders. My couisin is also studying architecture and right now he only gets drawings to do for homework...about 10 a night. So maybe take 1 or 2 hours a day to do your homework and study. Don't forget about your kids! Spend time with them even if it's only for 30 minutes a day. Don't forget about your husband nor about yourself. Add on work, cleaning, and cooking. That's your basic day! Maybe neighbors or your mother or sister or cousin even might be willing to spend time with the little ones or cook or clean. I'm not going to lie to you....it'll be very tough but you can do it. Good luck!

Been there done that!! I was three months into going for my A.A.S. and found out I was prego!! I already had a 7 and 5 yr. old from a previous marriage! I still continued with my schooling, had to make up credits from when I attended 10 yrs. earlier but never completed, so that required taking 15/16 credits for a year and then a full 12 in summer school and I was 5/6 mos. pregnant! When I gave birth to my daughter it was in October, so I didn't register for fall classes. I was 31 when she came and I didn't figure I could only miss a week of school and then go back after that! She was 3 mos. old when I went back and she was 19 mos. old when I graduated!! It wasn't easy. Studying time will become a precious time that you'll have to squeeze in! But go for it girl!! I don't regret it one bit! I did have to be superwoman for 2 1/2 yrs. but when you put your mind to it - YOU CAN DO IT!!

I don't have 3 kids. But I have an 9 yr old boy and 11 yr old girl. I work full-time as a teaching assistant and then go to school twice a week in the evening. Then I go home and take care of what has to be done. It is frustrating sometimes, but I do it. I really enjoy my classes. It is really good to plan ahead with everything. But you can do it!!!!! POWER 2 THA WOMEN!!!!!

I started college at 25 with 2 kids and graduated at 30 with 4 kids. It wasn't easy, but it was doable. I worked part-time and got financial aid and loans since my (now ex) husband was a lazy SOB. I went to school full-time while my kids went to daycare or school. I would take them to McDonalds and let them play while I did homework. Weekends I tried to get to gether with other moms to form homework groups. Even if we didn't have classes together we could help watch each others kids. I tried not to let being in school affect my mommy time to much. You cannot ever procrastinate. You never know when an emergency is going to mess with your schedule. Good luck. Like I said - hard but doable!
