Many artists -- Reubens most famously -- thought so. It's only in recent times that anorexia has been faddish. But not popular with everybody. (Ask the sellers of wedding gowns.)
Forget it. Be yourself. Until and unless it causes you harm.

Fat is certainly only attractive to a small minority of men. However, the way you worded the question is that you see yourself as fat. So the question is if you are really fat or if you simply believe yourself to be fat. In the latter case you may have some self esteem issues that you need to work on. You really have to learn to love yourself before you can expect others to love you.
If you actually are fat, change your lifestyle to include a healthy diet and regular exercise. Get down to a healthy weight and start to feel good about yourself.
Being fat is a serious health risk, and the sooner you start changing your life, the quicker you can become healthy and happier about yourself.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've been where you are and I lost a lot of weight and now I've gained back quite a bit of it. I'm working on losing it, but that's because I don't want diabetes and heart disease like my mother and grandparents had. Looks are all pretty superficial in the long run. Think about it. Mr. and Mrs. Perfect Bod Beautiful will get old some day and they'll be wrinkled and gray. If the only thing they have going for them is their looks then they'll be in a sad state at that point in time. Someone will come along and see the real you, the you that's your personality and character and integrity and humor and they'll fall in love with you and you will be the most beautiful woman in the world to them. I fell in love with a homely man once and he became handsome in my eyes. I had someone tell me once that they thought he was very unattractive until they got to know him and now they thought he was beautiful. That made me smile, cause he was and still is I'm sure. Also, I'm digressing here, but yes, you can be physically attractive and be a large woman. It's funny, but the older I get the more beauty I see in all women. When I was a teen I thought anyone over 30 was completely done-in looks wise. Now I see beauty in all ages and sizes and races. You'll meet someone who sees the same thing some day. I know I'm rambling around on this subject, but I have to relate my own experience when I lost weight. When I was overweight it almost seemed that men ran from me. Like they were scared I was some desperate woman out to get them. It was pretty aggravating. When I lost the weight suddenly they were knocking themselves out to hold doors for me and talk to me. When I was driving I noticed men doing double takes in traffic. At first I found it flattering, but then it started to get me a little ticked off. I was still the exact same person I'd always been, just slimmer. They wouldn't give me the time of day just months before. I don't know how to explain it, but it sure caused me to have mixed emotions. I guess you just have to be yourself and be patient. The right man for you is out there somewhere.

First off there are some guys who ONLY like girls with a little meat on their bones.
Secondly - I mean be honest - are you really FAT or are you GIRLFAT - which means you could more than likely loose 5-10 lbs. Have you ever noticed that women say FAT when we are talking a few pounds? That is so self depreciating!
And lastly - So what if you are fat, are you a good person, intelligent, kind? Do you care about others are you funny?
One more thing - - Marilyn Monroe, Delta Burke, Anna Nicole Smith, Mae West, Catherine Zeta-Jones-Douglas......we can all admit these women have had some weight on them - yet if we are honest they are all beautiful women.

You just have low self-esteem, my darling. Most girls with low self-esteem (this has been my experience) are really good looking!
I know what you mean though. I am fat- a fat dude. I feel like many people ignore me because of it. But so what. F*** 'em, man! I don't need anyone that narrow and judgmental.
And yes, certainly, some fat girls are beautiful! I thought that Carnie Wilson was hot when she was still fat. Now, she's not all that. Seriously.
I also personally know a few girls who are big- but they are really pretty in the face, and they are also intelligent and very nice. It all depends on the individual.

It is all about how you perceive yourself. If you see yourself as fat and unattractive then other people will too. You need to change your mind set and do something about it! If you think you're fat try to lose some weight! Stop complaining and start doing something about it. Change your self perception. If you start thinking that you are attractive the way you are then other people will start to as well. Men like all kinds of women!

When the right guy comes along he wont think of you as fat, he will think of you as beautiful. Why spend your life trying to impress people that are always going to look down on you for some reason. Theres no point in trying to make everyone else happy, the only person you need to make happy is yourself.

Do not say Fat, say full figured, or "curvaceous" and do not say "can" be beautiful, because you are beautiful. I will advise you to look to confident women like Queen Latifah or Jill Scott. Not Monique because she is prejudiced and full of hatred. Monique flipped the script and now folks are tired of her. I am not a full figured woman, but I believe that full bodied or not, you are beautiful. The full figured women in my family get men all the time with no problem, because curvy is the sign of what a "real" woman should look like. Even if you are more "thicker" than most. you are God's creature and he makes no mistakes. Love yourself.

Not every person is intended to be a stick pole.
Some people are a little thick and some are thin some are inbetween.
It is not what is on the outside that will make you beautiful it is what's on the inside. Cause there are some really pretty people in the world that are ugly as dirt cause their attitude SUX!

Of course fat people can be pretty. Theres a really hot guy that works with me and i always try to flirt with me and he doesnt flirt back i thought he was gay and then i saw his girlfriend who was really fat, but also she was pretty. So trust me especially in the town i live in. I am nothing compared to all these pretty fat girls. And plus they are really nice so thats a plus. Most guys in my town would rather have a nice fat girl, than a skinny snob.

I AM a Big Beautiful Woman! Yes, fat people can be beautiful as long as they take care of themselves and don't get slovenly. Same as a skinny person only with fat people, we have more to love.
