Everyone was created equal but its people who make others "more equal" or at least seem that way. I don't think that liberals believe that.

Everyone is created equal. Because it is God that creates.
Not everyone is born equal. Because it is the world they are born into. Some people are born with different colored skin. Some people are born into poverty. Some people are born with no arms, or no legs, or with disease.
Yet we are all loved equally in the eyes of God, regardless of how the world sees us.
