Good question! I use fingernail clippers for my toe nails because the toe nail clippers are way bigger than my nails!

Not sure about your toes and fingers mate but the largest and thickest nails on my body are on my big toes, though finger nail clippers do the job toe nail clippers make a better job of it quicker and easier and they are a lot less fiddly

Probably because of your one "Big" toe. With a little clipper you would have to clip your tow 5 or 6 times.

For one thing, the big toe is bigger than any of the finger nails.
For another, the toenails seem to be thicker and harder to cut, so a bigger, stronger implement is needed.

Your toe nails grow thicker than fingernails! You also tend to get ingrown nails easier on your toes than on your fingernails, so they cover a wider area to make sure all the edges are properly trimmed!

Ever tried to clip your toenails with a smaller clipper? It takes longer, and you have to push down harder on the lever!

the answer is,old men.the big toenail of an old man can be immensely tough and stubborn to trim,the larger variety of the clipper is surely a valuable tool in any old swingers personal grooming kit.
