Ask yourself, in which job would you feel respected ?
Either job, performed well, gains respect.
Traditional notion is that teaching is a noble job as it is a form of sacrifice to transmit knowledge to the next generation, in lieu of using that knowledge for self gain and profit.
A flight attendant works to show poise and grace in handling difficult customers. In so doing, learns more about self and people, which is a "humble" job, many not willing to takeup given the nature of serving another person.

Who cares which one is better the question should be which one do you enjoy they are both good jobs in their own way. Being a flight attendant is exciting you can fly to new places and see the world for free. Get to meet new people from all over the world and all cultures. Being a Teacher is also exciting teaching children and seeing there faces when they learns something new about the world. So sit and think which you enjoy and pick that one. If you can not decided the teach others to be a flight attendant then you will have both jobs in one.
Good Luck

The question is whether you want to be respected or you want them to respect you because you are in a particular profession. If your answer is later than you should join the police force because it is not respect that you are looking for but what could be feared more.
No doubt the public dealing element in Flight Attendents job is more therefore you are bound to get into situations that could lead to complications in this profession rather than being a teacher. But come to think of it, you will learn more than one way of handling the same situation and perhaps one way to handle most situations. If you have an adventurous personality than go for making your mark in the airlines, you will not only travel but meet some of the most exciting people also.
Come to think of it, as a teacher you will only be meeting married, seperated, divorced or single parent(s).
BTW, flying is considered as a high risk area these days, make sure the airline offers good insurance plans.
Respect is your birth right, no one can take this away from you, but God help you if you lose it yourself.
Good luck.

I think you'd have more luck at being a flight attendant with that grammar, but I think a teacher has a better and more respectable job. Although, both jobs are good and respectable.

That depends on where your passion truly lies, doesn't it?
If it's satisfaction of educating young minds, then teaching is the one for you, however, if it's the joy of travel, a career in being apart of the cabin crew would be more up your alley.
Neither job is less significant than the other.
In terms of money, time, rewards, etc being a flight attendant has its benefits.
Whereas a teacher needs dedication, requires work ethics, patience & long hours but hey at least you get long holiday breaks=)

If you choose Flight Attendant, you may wish to consider EMT training or even nursing, as well as a healthy dose of self-defense and police tactical training. Amazing things can happen on a flight (my mom was a Stewardess back in the late '40's and early '50's and had some amazing stories to tell, including delivering a baby on one flight). It's a good career, but be prepared.

On the one hand, being a flight attendant, you can see more of the world then being a teacher. On the other hand, being a teacher, you can teach important things. So it is a though choice.

Well I,m sure that being a flight attendent is a bit more glamourised than being a teacher but as for respectablity I think perhaps teaching but then again that depends on what grade your teaching . The higher the grade the more prestige one gets.

Both
There is dignity in any work, whether you are a sewage worker or a brain surgeon. If you are doing your best in your job and putting a roof over your families head, then you should have respect from anybody.
