I really like cute things like Hello Kitty and other things from Japan. I pretty much dress my age otherwise. Am I too old for my Harajuku girls wallet, Hello Kitty and Paul Frank purses, and cutesy barettes? I am also a mom and am a researcher at a hospital so I wear scrubs.

I am 29 and I will always be a Toys R Us kid. You are as old as you make yourself. If you start dressing the way everyone else thinks you should dress then you are doing it to satisfy others. You and I both know we can't keep anyone satisfied. They will look for something else to talk about. SO! You dress the way you want and keep yourself happy. If you're not happy with yourself then you are just teaching your kid to be a follower and you child is never happy if mommy isn't. Live it up! Be you!

I guess people are only reading the title of your question. Of course you're not old at the age of 27! BUT!
You are old for hello kitty purses sweetie. If it's very subtle you can still get away with so many "younger" styles but the purse like that is a big no. Trust me.

I am 26 and I left the Hello Kitty stuff behind for the junior high girls. I love the macy wallets, they are cool, but do not make me feel old at all. its ok to embrace the other stuff.

I am 39, Every once in a while, I break out the fun girly stuff too, like ribbons for my hair, my tinkerbell watch... I am sure you know when and where it is appropriate to wear your girly stuff. As for your purses, well I have quite a collection myself, I try to match what i am wearing or what the occasion calls for.

I beleive that your never too old ,to stay young at heart . If you like wearing these thing as a collector then why not but not to work. scrubs only match with gloves, amask, white lab coats, and small earrings to facilitate your job. but on your time go ahead if someone does not accept you for who you are .just say as I do "Oh well."

at 27 u r a bit old for hello kitty purses. maybe u can collect them but don't take them out.

Collecting them is fine but wearing that stuff is a little too young for you. There's nothing wrong with dressing your age, there are some really great fashions out there.

Absolutly not. My grandfather died at 79 and to tell the truth, he loved Hello Kitty. He was a *******, but other than that, he acted his age. Hope this helps!
