lalyn...i'm 4'11" too. everytime someone thinks i'm 16 i show them my gray hairs. i'm not ashamed of them, i've earned them in my 26 years!!

By my words, people are always mistakening me for a young woman! It's truly scary! But in appearance, just my age or younger. I think I'm a good mixture of both, though; immaturity of a child, while having maturity at the right moments. Why do people always have to ask one or the other? Why do we always use this "white or black" way of perceiving things? Why not dark gray, light gray, medium gray, white, black....?

I'm often taken to be older than I am. Lately because I'm more silver than black. But even as a kid it happened because of my sheer mass. I was over 6'4" and built like the side of a barn when I should have been leaving school, and still went on to get even bigger.
People often assume that big is older.

When I was 15 going on 16 people thought I was 18 and this one guy thought I was 21! It was so funny!

People always think I'm younger. I'm 22 and people think that I am still in high school sometimes. I'll love it when I'm older. But for now it sucks.

I'm 29 and in my second year of college in usa cos none of my credits transferred. I hate that i look the same age as the freshman here who have just come out of high school.

I get it all the time people think i'm still at school and i'm 20 - Least we'll look younger when we're in our 40's and 50's (hopefully)

I look Iike I'm 13 and i'm 18, so I get that a lot. But, I definatly act my age.

they think I look younger,I'm short (4'11) have been the same height since 4th grade,I'm almost 30 and I still get carded when I buy beer or my bro's cigs.
