You have to know what type of modeling you want to do. Runway, Magazine, Limb, (legs/hands) Lingerie, Pornographic, Plus size, etc. Once you decide what look you have, you then create a portfolio. Try making friends with someone in a photography class so that you can get free or cheap pictures taken for your portfolio. Then submit it to agencies. I'd say look for agencies that are charge free or even pay you. And take care of your appearance. Don't starve yourself and work hard.

ok its very hard to get into the industry, i was discovered when i was a child and have been doing it ever since in the Dallas, tx and new york areas. being discovered is the easiest way into the door. but get some really good pictures of yourself and get a resume together then go send them into some modeling agencies. to get the best exposer you need representation!

well...first of all make sure u get a back-up career, dont forget that looks won't last forever and like u...there r thousands and thousands of beautiful prospects for modeling. u have to be able to think with ur feet on the ground as u r to enter a very difficult career....get an agent, get some pics, and good luck :)

You can't just be a model. You have to find the right people to get you started. Start by contacting your local modeling agencies. They will give you the advice you need.

Start going to those talent scout things at malls, and get yourself an agent. (Or see if an Agent thinks you'll make it as a model.)
