take it to a mechanic and get it checked.

depending on when you see the smoke if it is smoking all the time you most likely have a ring problem or cylinder problem the oil ring around the piston is most likely cracked or carbon has built up around it causing it to not seal properly,there could be a cylinder with a scratch on the wall not allowing it to seal. If it is smoking just when you first start in up then after running for a few seconds the smoke goes away you most likely have a valve stem seal broken or no longer sealing around the valve stem this can happen due to age of engine if it has ever run hot before or the valve stem guide it self is worn out either way first thing to due is to run a compression test on all cylinders this should show you what is really wrong your engine hope this helps

Blue smoke usually indicates (an old Chevy ). Seriously, it's burning oil.
The oil control rings on one or all of the pistons could be shot--that's the most common cause.

Blue smoke usually means that oil is being burned. Bad piston rings, or head gasket.
