You can get a loan for anything if you have collateral. Banks make personal loans all the time for whatever you need or want. I suggest you scale back the cost of your wedding if that's the problem.

Hi, there are no marriage loans...

Marriage in Singapore is very cheap.. only $28 to register your marriage:P Why would you need a loan for that?

If you are talking about bridal photos.. you can check if they have installment plans...

If you are talking about the wedding dinner, you can use your credit card to pay the bill and plan carefully such that you can 'make money' from your ang pows and just clear the card bill immediately. Some banks do allow you to extend your credit for one day for the wedding dinner.

If you are talking about the house, you can check the banks for a housing and renovation loan (two different things okay).

It is all tempting to have a time of your life cos it is a once in a lifetime event. However, my advise... spend prudently ;) Work out your sums before you get started and stick to your budget! Good luck! :)

For what it's worth, I've seen people looking for loans on Prosper.com to fund weddings, but in general it's a bad idea to take a loan for such an occasion!

There is no such thing. you want a loan to get married? I assume to help pay for the reception and everything. Best thing you can do is to go into a bank and apply for a loan.

Don't take out a loan for a wedding - you'll doom yourself to debt and that's a silly reason to take out a loan.

i only coughed out about 1200 dollars for my wedding and that was plenty to have a great reception and wedding day. (and most of that money was for my dress)

if you don't have the money now - then wait and save.

Getting in debt is a bad start to a marriage. Pay off your debts, take care of your financial responsibilities now or they will haunt you into your marriage. Part of being responsible in your marriage is being financially responsible... if you aren't there yet, you may not be mature enough for marriage.
