There are many colleges that do not require the SAT. But what's the big deal... you should just take it. If you can't afford the fee, you can take it for free by applying for a low-income student waiver.

When you take the SAT then you get a feel for how you compare to other students around the country, and that will help you pick out a college. You can pick a school where the average score for the SAT for their students is similar to what you got. That way you will be in a group of kids that are all about as smart as you. If you do really well on the SAT it might help you get a scholarship, or if you do poorly, then it might point up some areas where you really need to do extra work before you go to college.

Most colleges dont care whether you take the SAT or the ACT. They will take either one.

I didn't take the SAT. I took the ACT and part of the Accuplacer to get into a technical college.

I never took the SAT.
I went to community college, then university, No one ever said I need to take them so I didn't.

u can start out @ a community college...do that for 2 years, and then be a transfer student.

That depends on whether or not you want to go to a good college.

There are schools that don't look at SATs.
