I love that show too.

The only time I tried to scare someone was on April Fools Day. I did it with my mother's help. I had a friend who worked as a civilian on an Air Force base. My father was retired military so my mom was able to get on base without any trouble. We took a life like mannequin that a co-worker (Queen of Practical Jokes) had used often. We put this male mannequin in Mom's car. We had it kind of slumped over. Mom went into my friend's office and told her that she was coming on base to do shopping. Mom told her that she saw this elderly man walking and offered him a ride. Mom said she figured it would be safe because after all he was on base. Then Mom told her that the man gasped and fell over. Mom said she was afraid he was dead and she didn't know what to do. My friend (reportedly) got this look on her face that said, "how could you be so stupid?" She then ran out and opened Mom's car door and the mannequin fell out. Scared both of them!!!!

My mother was older when we played this joke, so it worked out perfectly. It was easy to believe she would not be strong enough to try to do anything to help the man.

My mother and I had to talk about this joke for a few weeks as we could not say a work without laughing. After a while my mother got so that she could keep a straight face. It is the only time I ever played a joke on anyone.
