I have written quite a few questions regarding this and here is one more, thanks for being patient with me. I had a miscarriage in July, my Dr found no heart beat on the 5th ( I was supposed to be 12 weeks but only showing 6 or 7 in size) I started bleeding on July the 14th and bled for about 2 weeks. Then I had a normal period starting on 08-18-06 and before my miscarriage I always have had normal cycles of 28-30 days apart. I have heard that after a miscarriage your cycles can be mixed up, I am now on day 32 since my last period ( after trying this month to get pg) by the way I had a natural miscarriage no D/C and my dr saw me on 07-17 and Ultrasound showed all tissue was gone, how long should I wait to do a pg test? I am anxious but dont want to get my hopes up.

they have some test u can take up to 3 days before your missed period.. id say anytime after ur missed period will give u a good answer.. u can not have a wrong positive but u can have a wrong negative if u take the test too soon and the hormone levels from the baby hadnt had time to build up. positives that end up negative usually results from a miscarriage early in pregnancy... a false negative is a preg test taken too early.. i'm in nursing school....

If the doctor said that all of the tissue is gone then your test should be pretty acurate. I know that you probably don't want your doctor to know you are trying yet...he probably told you to wait 2 cycles or more...but I don't blame you.... I had one in April so I know how hard it is to wait. I would say your period is just messed up but you could go to the hospital and get 2 blood tests. have one then 2 days later have another and see if your HCG levels have went up. That is truely the only way of knowing for sure. Best of luck and God bless. hope you get preg soon!

Well usually you wait anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.But if you want to know for sure just go to your doctor and get a blood pregnancy test done if your that anxious.That usually shows up in a week or maybe shorter.If you eally want to get pregnant then just make sure that you are ovulating when you have sex.Thanks.

Home pregnancy tests work after 7-10 days.....so just buy a few packets for now and future use. They arent that expensive. You getting all anxious will delay getting pregnant...so why not relax and just enjoy sex for a change. Put babyhood stuff on the backburner and enjoy couplehood.....because THAT is where your mind needs to be...not on a third party...until its actually born.

u still might have pregnancy hormones ,so u eant to do now is just wait/. i know .waiting is the worst part,u really want to know but u know u need to wait,i have bin ttc for 3 months.
Good luck i promised my self no more hp test untill i get a good laate period 2 weeksa late to be exact.

Ept- is a brand of pregnancy test it can tell the first day of your missed period i suggest that but it can be rather expensive
