in its broadest sense it is any lind of alteration taking place over time. The part about "over time" is important, because change be sudden or gradual. It can also be natural (i.e. driven by something other than humans) or artificial (driven by humans). Natural change by its nature is not subject to judgement - i.e. there is no one to blame for hurricaines or earthquakes, we merely deal with them. The humanly caused type of change can be wisely and carefully planned and implemented, or foolishly conceived resulting in disastrous consequences.

Change equals depressrion to me it means doing something different and i like routine very much and get really depressed as i am now .I changed my school and went to another high school i also changed my educational system [my country's educational system] and went to a britsh system[IGCSE] and a new high school.Im so sad i dont know anyone and nobody knows me also the system of studing is completely different and needs hard thinking......im really so depressed .

Depends on the context but mostly to alter ones self or circumstances.

If coinage then that means what is left from breaking into a note.
