Why are people so dam rude online in a public forum?

This is a long tradition from the eighties started by dweebs with diminished social skills. Once born of frustration, curt and aggressive commentary became habit. Many subsequent readers then thought it was de rigeur, they followed suit, and it has propagated ever since.

Because most of the questions asked deserve a rude answer.
One would believe that most of those asking a question are in the fifth grade for the third time.

The spelling is disgusting and most can't compose a comprehensible question. Like in your case, the word is DAMN, not DAM.

And this answer is far from being rude....just truthful, which the vast majority of people can not handle so they call it being rude.

Because forums are basically anonymous, so people assume these alter-egos and are complete morons.
