I really think they try. Some can do very well considering other people's emotions. Most properly raised men do consider emotions. Those that don't are usually taught by a male role model that men are supposed to be tough. I also believe that young females can break a male's heart at a very young age when can cause him to become less emotional.

I don't think the question should be put as "do men". I think that this is a question for all. Depends on a person and how they may judge a certain act. Some people don't think before they do, both men and women. Men are not as sensitive as women but it doesn't meen that they do not care about the outcome.

Scientifically.... men think with pure logic or pure emotion, whereas women think with logic and emotion simultaneously.

To answer your question, it is dependent upon a variety of factors which affect their state of mind at that time that cannot be solved by science, so YES they can, depends on the individual and external factors that influence them.

I'd say about half of the male population are
considerate most of the time and are capable of
seeing past their own egos. It's the other half that give all men a bad rep.

I'm afraid I do too much of that. I have been told on numerous occasions that I am too nice and need to do what is best for me. I feel bad the moment I know someone else may be hurt or uncomfortable. That's just me.

I think they do, they just don't put a lot of value when weighing a person's emotions with other more down to earth factors such as security, stability, and compatibility of termperament.

I'm a guy, but one of the rare ones who does consider others emotions. But to be straight with you, a vast majority of them do not, it would get in the way of sports, beer, cars, porn and belching.

i'd say that if there are men that do put other's feelings first, they are in the minority. most of them don't usually, they are too busy considering their own feelings to be bothered by anyone else's emotions!
