Why do some feel that if a mom is sexy she is not a good mother?

Oh my God!I am so glad I saw this,I am a Mother of 3 teens and raising my Granddaughter,My oldest graduated in the top 1% in the nation and is the sweetest person ever,my 19 year old son is now a Marine and was the Q.B at his school, my 16 year old daughter is in song,dance,theatre and I am the Kool-aid Mom!All the other parents love me because I truly love children and teens feel comfortable talking to me,my 3 year old is wild and crazy but smart and sweet,anyway my Mom looked like a young Liz Taylor and was/is so beautiful,I am proud I had 3 children and still look good,its not about size,its about confidence,I like to keep in shape and dress nice and wear jewelry and make-up but I am an excellant Mom and Parmedic and freind,Thanks Yeti!!!One of my first freinds[actually the second!]and still a great freind!Love you!also Thanks Phantom my first freind and Rock Doll my third!!Love you guys!

It is written nowhere...it only comes out of the mouths of stupid, ignorant, and rude people. My best friend would tell me when she was pregnant that her husband used to say...just seeing her pregnant with their child is sexy...sexy can mean many different things. I have seen your wife in the pictures...she IS sexy...Even the love she has in her eyes for you and those adorable boys is sexy.
And Cherokee is one hot, SEXY, beautiful, Native American Goddess of the Cherokee tribe. The nerve of that one "girl" who is unsexy cutting her down the way she did..Many are jealous of Cherokee...I love you both Yeti...I think it is great you posted this for my sis. ;)
Oh, and I'm not a mom (yet) but I am DAMN SEXY!!! LOL

If it's written somewhere I'll sprinkle magic faerie dust on it to make it disappear! I'm a mom, and I believe I can be sexy in many senses of the word, at least on a good day :)

And I think other women look down on sexy mothers because of something that THEY are lacking. To be sexy does not mean that you forsake your children, it means you take pride in yourself and your spouse and your marriage.
Being sexy does not have to mean trampy clothes, and nasty actions it is in how you carry yourself, present yourself, actions, words, the whole package. I think too many women think sexy is inappropriate clothing, that's why you get 50 year old women wearing clothes meant for 20 year old women, that's NOT sexy, that is tacky! You can be sexy at any age, height, weight, race, etc.

Lots of people mistake sexy for slutty. Being sexy is all about being a good mom because it shows that you take time for yourself and in that way can give more of yourself to your kids.

I don't see it any wear!! My mom is very attractive and she dresses sexy, she looks like my sister instead of my mom. It doesn't bother me one bit!! Who am I to tell her not to dress sexy, she is her own person and I love her just the way she is.

I think it makes a woman even sexier, not only by maturing her body, but also in the extra confidence being a mother gives to her.

Sadly, there are just too many people with low self esteem out there who enjoy putting down those who walk with confidence and pride in who and what they are. Its a freaking sad world if you ask me!
