I have five upper level classes this semester and I am about 8 chapters behind (combined). Should I try to go back and read these chapters or should I try for a fresh start and pick up where we are in class?

For those of you who tell me to get off the computer: I have 5 classes with each class having about 10 projects to do during the semester, about 4 hours of homework a night and 16 hours of student teaching. I have been working on my homework since 8 this morning and I am taking a 30 min. break, so chill out!

DB Cash- I am a Junior and I am mainly behind on textbooks and we have to read 75 children's books. That's why I have gotten behind on my textbook reading is because I have been trying to get this project out of the way.

I'd recommend reading what you need for the next class, then as time allows going back to catch the missing chapters. If it's a novel, then this won't work. Just plow on through.
If it's a text book, you can jump ahead, then go back usually.

You don't say what level you are in school but if the books were fiction I would check out the audiobooks from the library and listen while driving, exercising, etc. It caught me up fast and actually made it a LOT more interesting. If you are behind on textbooks you may be lost, but fiction and some non-fiction books come on tape and it the best! i had to read about ten young children's books for my education class and I got them done in like two days!

If you got off the computer you could actually keep up with your studies! Read what you need for the next class, but go back and read all the chapters over the weekend.

Stick with where you are in class right now, but also go back and read the missed chapters, so that you understand better with what you are studying now.

Get off the computer and get busy reading. You have already procrastinated far too long now. GET BUSY
