Even if you look at them like "what?" You know they're still looking. It's flattering, but it comes to a point where you want them to just STOP.
Especially if it's an older married man.....ick

yes.... it is really creepy... mind you.. I'm only 17.. but there are OLDER men that stare at me and I hate it because I'm soo young and they are UGLY!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is very uncomfortable. I seem to get it alot especially with married guys. Your right it is flattering, but even if we smile they are going to think somethnig like we want them. Now a days married men an women don't care and go out and cheat.
I'm happy with my husband. We just have to be careful.

Ugly or cute what difference does that make, staring like a dog in heat is disgusting and it scares us so stop it! And remember ladies some creepy guys can be handsome too, like that serial killer Bundy something or other.

I fill the same way you do! If I dress up is not to get the attention of guys but to fill good about myself. Some men are nice about it they just glance but others are starring like if they are getting turn on by what they are looking. Those are the type of men I can't stand!!!

when a guy stares at you that eventhough you have expressed your concerns that you do not like to be stared at, but still does it anyway -- it's not only uncomfortable for the girl, but it's offending as well.
guys stare at me a lot -- especially spanish people. it bothers me and i tell them in a nice way that i don't like being stared at, but they still do it anyway. i don't mind if the person is staring while im not looking or im unaware of it, but if he stares that eventhough i know he's staring -- still does it anyway -- i am just offended by it. to me, it's as if you're deliberately offending the person and you don't respect her wishes.
the guys im talking about, work here or around the area where i work -- and when i've already told them before i don't want to be stared at, they think it's a joke -- and then later on they would tell my friends to tell me that they like me -- it's unbelievable! i wanted to say "when i've told you before i don't like to be stared at, you responded by making a mockery of it or by laughing -- dude! you just lost points for that!"
if they were nice enough and knew how to respect a woman -- i would have thought about it. it's just plain sick that you would aggravate a woman because you like her. what a way to make her like you. it's disgusting.

It doesn't bother me. The only time it does is when they won't break eye contact at all from across the room. Then I get a little creeped out.
