i wish to know the physiological steps of yawning & what the reasone that did it .thanks

It has been said that it is a need for air. I suspect that when one is tired, either physically, or mentally, one tends to slacken in the job of breathing, and at some point, the reflex action of ones MIND is initiated to force a breath so as to maintain the proper amount for ones organism. Yawning often precedes retiring, so just an indication of needing to rest is probably the cause.

1. Feeling a need to yawn.
2. Opening mouth to yawn.
3. Yawning.
4. Closing mouth after yawning.
5. Swallowing any flies that may have flown into your mouth during yawning.

A yawn is a reflex generated by the brain in response to low oxygen levels in the brain.

yawn allows you to draw air through your nose and mouth at the same time. it's a way for your body to take in more oxygen than it normally would.
