STEALTH at Thorpe Park, definitley. That ride literally pulled my stomach out through my mouth... and by the end of it, I was so happy that I'd just been launched into the sky at speeds of up to 80mph.
I've only managed to go on it once, though. It was closed the last two times I went to Thorpe Park. Dunno why. Is it having problems? Anyhow, I went on it a couple of days after launch and it was awesome.

I've never been to Great Britain, but I just know I have to try that giant wheel thing in London. With the large gondolas and the terriffic view of the city.
Not exactly a "thrill" ride, but it is on my list of "must do" things. I would wait in a helluva long line for that.

The Millennium coaster at Fantasy Island is a good ride, but what makes it really good is you can go on it without any queueing for a very modest cost.

I love the one at Drayton Manor Park - where it drags you up a tower at a very great height and then lets you go at a very great speed!

It depends on what you like. Humans do like the feeling they get from the excitment of fast rides.
Personally I like log flumes, as the combination of going up, the speed you come down, and the water is great.
