You gotta go with music of the era. This is the music that entertained them, made them happy and accompanied thier courtship.

It should be fairly easy to fine a compilation album or two of hits from that era. And don't be afraid to dip into the seventies, since this may be what they heard as they grew up, before adulthood.

What a blast that could be, for them and the rest of the family and friends.

Anything mid to late 70's and early 80's would have been playing when they married. You need to narrow down your list -- did they listen to country, rock, r&b, christian? You could literally come up with thousands of songs. Do they have an old tape (or record) collection? Look at the type of music they listened to and go from there.

Listen to "If You Could See What I See" by Geoff Moore & The Distance. It is a Christian band performing a marriage song, and it is beautiful. I'll try to get a link here for you.

("Lady in Red" is by Chris DeBurgh, BTW. Your listed choices are very good.)

"Remember When" by Alan Jackson would be perfect

"I Will Be Here" by Steven Curtis Chapman

"Everything I Do" by Bryan Adams

"All for Love" by Bryan Adams and Sting

"What a Wonderful World"

Hope these get you started. What year were they married? Find out what the top ten songs were from that year and the year before that. That should bring back happy memories. =)

Play music they like now as well as music they liked when they were dating. You really dont want to play all romantic tunes..a party is not romantic with all those guests there

That's nice!
Are you having a band or dj?
They should be able to put together a list of recommended songs for you.

Definitely their wedding song, and what are your parents favorites? Stick with music they enjoy since it's a party in their honor. Maybe something from their era-
