Well, I think it would be selfish to think that this huge universe was created only for us, so yes there probably is life on other planets.

I disagree with the belief that just because some planets are too hot or too cold it's impossible for life to exist there since we don't know how other organisms work. Just like a fish is adapted to its habitat, an extraterrestrial creature might have other adaptations to survive.

i feel it is absolutely 100% without a doubt, a possibilty.look at mars, all dried up, u gotta see that some thing was going on there. life has been found in all kinds of places, our water, our skin has living entities in and on it, i don't believe this is the only planet where "life"was just " dumped". our god is merciful and he created all life. tell me, would you create 1 thing 1 time no matter how it turned out say 'o.k thats it, im done .this is the best job i can do" ? no comparisons no test sites just.........quit.

I incline to agree with Isaac Asimov that there must be, of whatever shape, nature or development. It just seems unlikely that there is not. Somewhere.
Do I think it knows we're here? Maybe, and maybe not. But what I do think is, if it does, and it comes all this way to find out what we're like, it must be disappointed. I mean, we have hardly reached the full of our potential, and we work so hard at failing to do so, that no sane creature could fail to find us less than impressive.
Do I think they visit us regularly? It seems unlikely, given there's a whole universe out there to explore. And if they do come here often, I cannot think it's for a benevolent cause--face it, WE can hardly stand ourselves.
Do I think they're peaceful? Probably, since bellicosity it largely contra-survival. Do I think they'd include us in their pacifism? If they don't, being able to come all this way just to look?--I don't think there's much we could do to stop them from anything they think they'd like to do.

I am sure that there must be life elsewhere. Recently, astronomers have been detecting a variety of organic molecules and oxygen in nebulae throughout space. All the elements are there, so there must be life elsewhere.

However, because of the vast distances between star systems, we may never have definitive proof that life, especially intelligent life, exists.

I would hope their is life on another planet. At our rate, we will end up destroying our Earth and each other. We will need to be rescued.

I know there is life, human life, on millions of planets in the universe, but we'll never get to any of them. (We'd only corrupt them if we did.)
