Instead of the velcro mittens. Get yourself some tall rubber boots & just slip their back legs into them while your wearing them. Can't get away then.

why don't you just make your own? they sell velcro with a sticky backing to it. Just stick it on some leather or non-fabric gloves and presto!

I don't think you want velcro, it sticks to itself but does not do well as a brush.
