Firstly, I don't think Sikh women have to cover their whole body. There's no such hard & fast rule or any strict requirement. But individuals has their own preference, just as some "white women" sleeps around with any Tom, Dick or Harry after getting sloshed in boozy night out, while others act "sensibly".
By the way, if it's YOUR homework, you'd do your OWN research rather than expecting help from others.
No wonder, any Chav could get GCSE or A Levels now a days & by the time they realise that they don't quite possess the calibre required to do the job in real life, they simply end-up "milking" the taxpayers money by surviving on the dole.
Do you research, work for yourself & if you don't succeed THEN ask others. People like to help THOSE who can actually help themselves.

It's the Muslim women that have to cover their whole body...do ur research first man...ur question is way too generalized that it's likely to receive criticism
-But...some Sikh women (especially religious ones) cover themselves with clothes to be modest & conservative

am amuslim and i'll tell u there's no thing n the first place call sikh women there's the religion women and they do this because they dont want any one 2 look 2them n werd way or say some thing they wont like. good luck with the home work.

It is all about the cultural view of modesty and propriety. It is not proper or polite to show the body or hair to anyone but your spouse. Men also cover their hair.

Sikh women dont have to cover up, muslim women do.
we are just asked to dress modestly. so i think you should all do your research first, your all very ignorant

They live in a male dominated, sexist society, full of insecure men that are afraid if women had an ounce of freedom, they would leave their husbands for something better. (and they would). It equates to slavery.
