I think you're British... and if so, I think when the British use that term, they need to realize that Americans/Canadians (and/or other areas too?) never use that word. When we mean "pimples," we say "zits" or "acne."
When we hear "spots," we think of little dots on things, or strange discolorations.
If you are British and you mean "pimples," and you would like to reach North American answerers (and that's who you're talking to at the moment, considering it's daytime over here), you should either avoid using the term "spots," or explain what it means in the TITLE of your question. I can almost guarantee more people will click on it. Otherwise, the question doesn't make any sense to us. (As evidenced by the 2 people who answered just before and just after me... lol.) Just a little piece of advice. =)
