No I would of thought nature, because it goes in cycles that we as mankind have forgotten. There is life (growing/planting), flood moving things elsewhere, fire to destroy as well as earthquake and hurricanes. then life from the decimation.

Where mankind does not do all of this they have life, wars, rebuild, more wars. The poverty but on reflection mankind could be its own worst enemy!!

Yes. Our intelligences, problem solving abilities and ingenuity our both our greatest achievements and our greatest failures. We are our own best friend and worst enemy because we have nearly Limitless potential for good or ill. At this point the only thing that can really destroy us on planet earth is ourselves. And the fact is that we have unfortunately wandered down the path of ill and unless we realize that we cannot work separate from other species, our arrogance will cause our own demise.

Yes we are doomed as many have pointed out. It all comes back to one thing GREED! Our capitalistic system feeds that greed. No religion will help. Quite the contrary. More awful things have happened in the name of religion than for any other reason.
The only solution is for everyone to see that it's in all of our best interests for all of us to look around and use our time on earth to help the planet and it's other inhabitants more than anything else. The problem is that we are all addicted with SELFISHNESS.

I used to think that man would eventually evolve into a more peaceful species and wars would one day cease to exist. But we seem to be regressing and I believe it is us who will one day cease to exist. No other creature on the planet has the ability to annihilate us. Only man himself

Definitely. I agree with the first answer, but mankind will first destroy every other living thing. Then when nothing is left, we will destroy ourselves.

Yes, we don't see animals killing each other for no reasons. They kill only for the food to survive. Whereas man will even hit someone when he can't stand someone else staring at them or said something which don't even need to bother about.

no, the devil is man kind's worst enemy, he is the one that influences us to do bad things, and not realize the truth of things we are doing, he blinds us from the truth and helps us talk ourselves into things we shouldnt do.
