I feel sorry for your future hubby. Just read the directions on the side of the pack. Use a jar of sauce and if you want add some ground beef or sausage to the sauce and maybe some garlic. Bon appetite

Spaghetti is just about as easy as it gets. First boil water (add salt to the water if you are at high altitudes). I like to add a little oil to the water (vegetable or olive oil) to keep the noodles from sticking. Then put in a handful of noodles (a small handful for one person). You can break the noodles in half if you like before putting them in the water. Then stir slightly. Now you just have to wait. It usually takes 7-12 minutes to cook the noodles. Look on the package, it should say. Anway, at about 10 minutes take out one noodle with a spoon, let it cool and taste it. As long as its not crunchy or chewy, it's ready. Pour the pot through a strainer and let the noodles drain.
Also, spaghetti sauce from a jar is ok, but add a dash of garlic, oregano and salt and pepper to make it taste better.
Combine the sauce and noodles on a plate. Add salt, butter and parmesan cheese as you see fit.

Fill a large saucepan with water and add a teaspoon of salt. let water boil. When it does, drop in spaghetti and cook until limp. To test its edibility, take strand and throw it against the wall. If it sticks, then it is perfect. Drain in a collander (basically a large vowl with holes all over) As far as sauce goes, you can just heat up a ready made sauce like Prego or Ragu, and mix together

Spagetti: First boil water then add noodles, cook for the time said on the bag, usually 6-8 minutes.
Spagetti Sauce: In a pot ...put ground burger, cut up green pepper, onion. Then season with basil, oregano and fresh garlic, little salt and pepper. You can put sliced mushrooms too, if you like. Let all of this brown and then, drain.....add tomatoe sauce, diced tomatoes, and season again with the same seasonings. Let cook for a few more minutes...youre done. The longer it sits tho, on low, itll be better. Add water if too thick. Add a pinch of sugar to get rid of bitter tomatoe taste.

if you cook angelhair or thin spaghetti, usually you boil it 7 to 10 mins. if you cook ziti or lasagna or penne it takes about 10 to 14 mins. 1/2 way thru cooking, take some noodles and taste. if they are just soft it is ready. then drain and rinse with cool water to remove excess starch. when boiling, add a dash of salt and a little oil to keep spaghetti from sticking.

Fill a large pot with water, a little more than half way.
Add in a handfull of salt, a large ladle full of spaghetti sauce, and a couple tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Cover with lid, turn heat up to high.
Let it get to a roiling boil.
Stir in the spaghetti until it's all submerged in the water.
Turn heat down to medium.
Cook for about 10 minutes.
Drain and rinse with cold water.
