Ronnie gave him an attitude adjustment.

GWB is the son of Ronnie's VP, and Omar doesn't want any more of that. He's our buddy now.

Reagan was 20 years ago that's along time for a tune up to have effect don't you think? I suspect it's because he's OLD he doesn't have that fire any more. Now he just wants to rebuild his country while oil is paying big profits. Wait until the new lion takes over and they'll be back to there happy jihadist selves in no time.

No, it is the effect of sanctions after the bombing of a plane. Libya became isolated. Qaddafi tried socialist intervention into the economy and it didn't work. He has kept oil nationalized, which was a good idea to begin with, and uses it to fund housing, health care, transportation systems and education. He also promotes women's rights and works on an anti-drug campaign in Libya. I think he wanted Italian and French aid and saw the need for economic and social reform in Libya.

Because as he has aged he has obviously become a responsible leader for his country. He is playing it smart and sees that his country goes further playing nicely in the sand box with the other kids.

Nah, it's just that he's getting old and is frustrated that he still can't pass the test to be a general (even though he administers it to himself and has permission to cheat)
