Im home schooled and my math program says: Evaluate for a=2,b=3,c=4 then it says a2 b2 c2 and i think a2 means a to the 2nd power, thanks

a^2b^2c^2=2^2*3^2*4^2=4*9*16
=576

Normally a^2 would be a squared.

a squared = 4
b squared = 9
c squared = 16

(4)(9)(16) = 576

Then, a2=2 on the second power, so 2*2
b2= 3*3 and so on.

A number printed in superscript (or a carat followed by a number) to the right of an expression is used to designate exponentiation (a power) of the expression.

e.g, 4^2 = 16

its just (2^2)*(3^2)*(4^2) = 4*9*16 = 576.
