You are not alone.. My baby boy is Now goen on 8 mo. and he is still throwing up... It's not a normal spit up... It is actual throw up... I have gone in to see his ped. about 5 times for the same prob. They tell me that it could possibly be reflux... These are suggestions they gave me...Do not lay him down after eating. Keep in your arms or propped up for 1/2 hr after food. Stuff something under his mattress to prop him up at night. So he does not lay flat. Feed him a little at a time burping him after every ounce... To be honest with you these things helped very little for me... Maybe it will be diffrent in your case.. You should try them. I changed his milk to soy formula... and for the past two mo. after i kept bugging his ped. about it.. He put my son on zantac syrup.. 150 mg.. twice a day. Ever since he startedtaking that he throws up alot less. I mean I was going through 3-4 outfits a day and he would throw up 6 to 7 times aday even with out eating. So that obviously worried me. Now he does it about twice da day the most three.. and sometimes it can go a few days with out him doing it... He still does it.. although less but now its worse since he eats solids... so I am def. going to get him in to the doc. again... Try those things maybe it will help for you... GOOD LUCK I know it gets irritaing for you and definitely for baby

Check with your pediatrician about an alternative formula as she may be allergic to your current formula. If she has a milk, dairy or soy allergy, this may be one of many symptoms. Please note that if she is allergic then you need to get further testing done to be sure there were no other effects. Slight traces of blood in the stool (sometimes not even visible to the eyes) are another sign of an allergic reaction to the formula.
Or it may be acid reflux. Try feeding smaller amounts of formula more often - burping at least every 1/2 ounce. After the feeding, wait at least 2 hours for the stomach to digest the formula. If the previous feeding has not been completely digested and baby eats again, this causes reflux. Also, after the feeding, keep your baby in an upright position. This helps food stay down the esophagus better and causes less spit-up. All of this has worked well for us and there is a lot less spit up.

my daughter did the same thing. try burping her after every once of formula. try sitting her up right of 30-45 mins after each feeding. do not stress off it. just look at the weight she is gaining sometimes i would swear my daughter was spitting up everything but she was still gaining weight. so she had to be getting some food. if you are really worried make an appointment to have her weighted and tell the doctor your worries, again. good luck!

Is she "spitting up" or projectile vomiting? My daughter never spit up, but I have had friends whose babies spit up after every meal.
Acid reflux is quite common in formula fed babies as that is not meant for their systems. You may need to switch formulas, or get a prescription for a reflux medication.
If your doctor won't give you answers that help you feel empowered, go get a second opinion.

Might be acid reflux or some sort of problem like that. The formula might be irritating her throat or stomach which is why she is spitting up.

Were you breast-feeding at first? Is it a soy or lactose formula. Baby might be allergic to dairy milk if it is lactose.

Remember... breast is best!

My nephew couldn't breast feed. He was premature and my sister never lactated - no milk was in storage for him. He would throw all his dairy formula up each time he was fed only to discover he was lactose-intolerant. She had to switch to a soy brand and that all changed.

Hope you resolve it soon. Good luck.

Try switching formulas. The formula you are using could be too hard on her tummy.

Good luck!

i think of human beings may well be happy to have the opinion that they want. they could desire to have the means to precise there opinion, and people who pay attention (which must be a lot of human beings) ought to have an open strategies, and perhaps exchange there opinion. some evaluations will possibly no longer grow to be something, in spite of if it doesnt propose there valueless. in spite of if no one treasures your opinion, you ought to. Its what makes you who you're.
