Hi Friends,
This is my First Question post in Yahoo! Answers. Its really awesome to see different kinds of questions and aswers. Really I'm enjoying it and got some new knowledge.
My question is, we all know that we are living in planet Earth, which consists of our Solar system which is in our Milkyway galaxy, which in turn is in our Universe along with Millions of other galaxies.
Is there any presence of more universes like the one where we are living, so called Multiverse.
You may all coem to know a Hollywood movie called "The One" acted by Jet Li. The main concept of the movie tells is that there are Multiverse, more Universes and people have technologies to travel between Universes.
Does any body have Faith or Kowledge or some Doubt about the existance of Multiverse (more Universes)?
Please let me know about your views friends.
I saw some friends are replying like "I don't know","U r silly to ask this","U go & study the basics" and etc...
I humbly request you to avoid this.

You should start exploring quantum physics first to take the next step. Watch "What the bleep do we know" from IMAX

The math seems to be saying yes, there are multiverses. They are not all like ours, however. Some are pure energy, others have different natural laws. The cool part is that we can tap into them to create an infinite source of power, called zero point energy. We needn't be dependent on oil if we just use the knowledge we already have!

As far as other Universes go, there's no way to prove that they exist or don't (yet), but if you're really interested in this kind of stuff you should look into "String Theory." It deals with the posibility of other dimensions. There was a Nova special that explains it really well.

our galaxy is in a universe in about 1/4 of it's total age. until 1/2 of it's age is gone, it grows, and afterward, shrinks into nothing. i mean matter and antimatter combine.

when our universe gets older over time, black holes appear, and with black holes come other universes. that is, black holes are portals between universes.

multiverse basically means "everything" all universes. not just the one we know.
