Please explain it in a simple way, easy 4 me 2 understand. I am only 14 :(

Fraction : 3 / 11

Decimal : 3 divide by 11 = 0.27272727

Percent : Decimal times 100 = 27.272727%

Turn the fraction into a decimal and multipy the answer by 100.
ex: 1/2 = .50 .50*100= 50 so 1/2 = 50%

Just multiply by 100%.

Examples:
(1) 3/10 convert to a percentage.
3/10 x 100% =
300%/10 = 30%

(2) 7/20 convert to a percentage.
7/20 x 100% =
700%/20 = 35%.

Divide the bottom number into the top number. Always. {:-)]
The bottom number is the divisor, the top number the dividend.
Put the decimal point of the answer right over that of the dividend.
Do just like any long division problem. If the bottom number of the fraction is bigger, the answer will be less than 1. It will be 0.something.

Multiply the fraction to 100, thats it
For example
1/2 x100 = 50%

the easiest answer to this is, you have to divide the fraction and then multiply by 100, then just put the percentage sign on your answer. :-)
