to begin with.I have been friends with a policeman,I cut his hair.I dont work at a salon anymore so he comes to the house and I do it for free.He married and divorced during our friendship. He finally took her back.I encouraged him to do so.But I also knew it would be time to end the friendship because he had told me she thought we were doing more then haicuts and she didnt like me because of that(we have never met).So Things changed as I told him it would, less verbal contact, less texting(phone).I told him I wanted to stop the friendship before she moved back in.I didnt want to be an issue to her.he said it was ok and she was ok with it. I found out that the last time we were on the phone (late night)she found out and it was a big fight.I told him I didnt know I was a secret and didnt want to be his secret.I told him to bring her next haircut. He didnt.I have tried to end the friendship several times before she moved back in.He would let it be.He kept texting and wouldnt get a haircut

This may sound a bit too simple but it takes at least two to talk in what ever fashion you both choose. So don't reply anymore. His partner doesn't trust him for a reason-think about it.
Are you being used by this guy? Just to make his partner angry?
No more hair cuts-shop closed.

If you dont answer he will eventually stop coming around, as long as you entertain the idea of a triangle, so shall you be in one.
Stop accepting the calls, the texts, and giving him FREE haircuts....

There's no dilemna. He's a married man. There should only be mutual friends between the 2 of them. Just back off and out he can get his haircut anywhere.

You're saying no with no meaning behind it. If you really mean what you say,DO NOT contact him. When he calls or texts you, DO NOT ANSWER him. I think you may even like it when he calls and texts you. But if you mean what you've said let it go.

you are perpetuating this situation by maintaining contact with him, he is being disrespectful of his wife's feelings by continuing to contact you. put your foot down and tell him to stop calling or coming by, you are not a charity. tell him to put his excess energy into his spouse.and leave you alone
