I feel more secure with an "Assertive" person.
Dominate person is too bossy for me.
Submissive person has no voice and can lead to boredom.
Assertive person is just right....not trying to dominate but will stand up for own beliefs and not allow themself to be walked all over.

my husband and i have been together for almost 7 years now, and my stepbrother and i have been best friends for the past 13... neither of them are what i would call dominate and i am deffinately the more assertive in both sets, but i would not call either of them submissive either. we share equal status in the relationships
not all that in to dominatrix

I feel the most secure with someone who is neither or who embodies a bit of both qualities. We are all on a spectrum at any given time--why be absolutely one way or another. Why Coke or Pepsi? Why not both?

I think submissive people are better to be around, Thier much nicer and they seen to be more down to earth and they just get things. I like that to! Thanks and God Bless you!
