I told my boyfriend I wanted a colorless
1carart princess cut diamond on my finger
but then I changed my mind.I thought that was too much money
for a ring so instead I told him to use the money as a down payment for my dream Escalade.At least the whole family can enjoy the suv.

Actually, the smaller the diamond, the better I feel. Since I like small diamonds, to get me something big and flashy is an insult.

I don't even have one and don't intend to get one. It's such a waste of money, I could think of about a billion other things that fortune would be better spent on. And anyway, I got married for a better reason than getting a big diamond on my hand. Jewelry just doesn't mean sh!t to me.
I can only speak for myself though.

No, too big can be gaudy. It could also mean cry for attention or maybe that you think expensive things are more important to you (as in high maintenanced). Not to mention you could attract unwanted attention, like muggers and robbers and gold diggers.

Diamonds make me sick to my stomach because of the human misery they represent, and the exploitation of African workers needed to mine them. If I wore a diamond, i would also be terrified of being robbed/murdered for it.

No I like mine it's not too big and not too small, just right. I like the ones that are just bands also. I hate when they are so big that the woman can hardly lift her hand it looks like they are trying way to hardâ¥
