There are often narrators that are not the main character. Jiminy Cricket telling the story of Pinocchio (sp?). If that's not what you mean, look at Wicked and the other books by Maguire that take a story or fairy tale and tell it from, say, one of the ugly stepsisters' point of view in Cinderella. If this isn't what you were meaning I'd love to help more.

Just listen to that person and picture their mind in a way that makes you laugh and you will be able to do the tale in your own words but from her side of the fantasy. You have to be able to see it through her mind which is easy to do if you concentrate.

DO you men like write Hansel and Gretel from the witch's point of view? Obnoxious kids come around stealing parts off my house and eating them. I invite them in and what do they do? They trick me and push me into my own oven!

I guess everybody has a point of view.

talk to the person you're writing it for, or whose perspective you want to be included. have them tell u the story, and add stuff to what they say. talking to a child would really help. =)

Write it in the style they used to write theirs if you mean writing it as another author. If you mean writing it as another character then you would tell the story through their eyes.
