They need to be totally defrosted in the refrigerator...I wouldnt mix them together..feed them seperately. Try and use them within 24 hours...Did you store the breast milk in plastic or glass bottles? Try using plastic breast milk storage bags...this way you can pump away and store a lot..without using all your bottles...make sure you shake the milk well as it will have seperated... fat/water... I wouldnt use breast milk that has been stored/frozen for longer than 4 - 6 weeks other people may disagree but I wouldnt..... (when my daughter was in sick kids hospital...I was pumping a lot....people were stealing it from the parent freezer..how gross is that?!!!)

The milk will need to be used within 7 days after they have thawed and no its not best to mix them unless u pumped the milk out at the same time and as for taking the milk out of the fridge as long as the room is not to hot the milk can last for 10 hours at room temp but if you plan to travel id carry the milk in a cool bag hope this helps.

It's been long enough I don't remember the specifics, but I know its only 6-8 hrs in room temperature, and 3-4 days after thawing and being in the refrigerator. They can be in the freezing for like 6 months though. And I always mixed mine together if there was only a little here and a little there, but I know they don't recommend it in case something you've eaten is in one bottle and not the other because you won't know what's affecting the baby, however I would never have known anyway because all I did was write the date on it!!! La Leche League website has great info on all of this though if you check it out.

Once they are thawed, you will need to use them within 24 hours.
Yes, you can mix them together. The only time you can't do this is if they are different temperatures. (Don't pour freshly pumped milk on top of frozen milk, for example.)
At room temp they will last about 4-6 hours.

Go to the link below and print out the chart and keep it on your fridge door.

I believe the literature I got from the hospital said 3 months in the freezer, 3 days in the fridge, 30 minutes on the table.

You can mix 2 containers of breastmilk together. They did that alot in the NICU for my son because I wasn't producing enough milk to feed him from just one pumping session.

In the freezer milk will last for a month. In the fridge, a day maybe 2. Yes you can mix them together. Out of the fridge, you don't want to leave it sit out for more than 2 hours, preferably less, especially once its been warmed.
So long as you aren't refreezing it, it's all good.
