We all love our own clubs, but who really can say theres are the best team currently on the planet, and i dont want to hear my club won x amount of european cups in th eighty's as thats just sad, im looking for today's best club team.

why are people still saying real madrid? totally clueless. they haven't won ANYTHING in the last 3 years. all their players are old or shite. they can't even be considered world-class
liverpool, too. why? they haven't won a league title in 17 years, which to me shows you've been truly successful. they won the champions because they got a few lucky breaks, grinded out some draws and decided to focus their attention on it whilst giving up on the league. pennant, bellamy and reina can hardly be considered world-class, an yet they're all in the liverpool starting IX. infact, they haven't got a decent striker
i'm a man u fan, and they certainly and the best team in the world
barcelona probably are at the moment. they totally dominated the spanish league and champions league last season, and nearly every player in their starting IX and even players on the bench could be considered world-class. ronaldinho is, disputably, the best player in the world. they play attractive, attacking football; and rijkaard is a fantastic manager

This is a really open question. All the club suporters will nominate there own team. If this question is based on the last 10 years, you could argue Real Madrid or Man Utd. But the best current team really has to be Barcelona. They won La Liga last year, and followed up with the Champions League. They also look good again this year.
I am an Arsenal supporter by the way, so this has really taken some honesty to answer after we lost to them in the final, but you did ask for honesty

FC BARCELONA!!! Obviously and with simple explanation with no complications, Barcelona has done it all in these last 3 years, Champions League, Spanish League last 2 years, and other cups on the European or National levels..besides, they've got a really really good coach that is Frank Riykaard besides an elite group of the world's present best players...VIVA LA BARCALONAAAAA!

FC BARCELONA - without a shadow of doubt. On current form they are the best. They are European and Spainish champions, and soon going to become world champions.
With players like Ronaldhino, Deco, Eto'o, Puyol, Messi, Thuram, ....... Saviola (he never get to play) .. - Barca is going to be champion atleast for season 2006/07.

AC Milan all the way! They have a lot of talented players with so much potential. It is only a matter of time before they dominate.
Arsenal kicks some serious butt as well. They already beat the so called favorites Man U. Man was that 85th minute goal brilliant or what.

This is an open question because you are going to get supporters from all teams mentioning their own team`s history.
But I myself would go for Man Utd, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Boca Juniors all real good football clubs with an excellent history :-)

Barca. Easy answer they won the Champions league last year, have won it before, have a great history, a huge following world wide, gotten even better this year, and are picked to win the champions league again.

According to this link AC Milan (Italy) is the best team in Europe(so obviously the world as well), but u cant really say like u said, ithink barcelona (spain) are awesome. they gel so well together and play beutiful football with wingers(old-school) and ronaldinho.
