I'm really small and petite. I'm about 5 feet tall and weigh about 90 pounds at the most. I'm proud of who I am, but I don't usually see a lot of small and petite woman like myself everyday. I see a few here and there. Are there any of you ladies out there that are small and petite as well or know of someone who is?

I'm petite in size and structure but not necessarily short and I've gained a few pounds now (thanks to the birth of my daughter). But anyway, some women make me feel like an outcast. They see the clothes I wear or how I wear my clothes and they say "ohhh, you are lucky you're small because I could never wear that!" What's that supposed to mean? Or they say something like "OMG, you're so little." I get tired of hearing it. I make me feel like I'm an outsider or something or as I they have never seen anyone the same size as me. Like I said I'm not super petite but I am smaller than the average woman. I just get tired of hearing about it. Again since I've had my daughter and gained a little weight, I don't hear about it as much as I used to. Mostly it's the women who I work with who make me feel uncomfortable with my size.

Yes sweetie I am 5'6" weigh 115 llbs 28 years old small petite young lady wishes everyday I could gain more weight. I had 3 kids and lost weight instead of gaining with all of them. Try everything to gain. I gain 1 or 2 lbs and lose that in no time. I am just like you proud of who I am, in good health but wants little more pounds added on.

You're lucky!! I wish i was 5feet. I'm 26 y.o. and i'm 4'7 weighing 87lbs. I feel like everyone looks down on me. I look young, and sound young. I have to shop in the kids section in the dept stores in order to find clothes my height/size. They say good things come in small packages but it's hard to believe when everyone treats you like a kid. I've felt shy and insecure about it since I was a teen.
I get a lot of "You're so small", "you look 12", "you are the shortest person i've ever seen", "are you really 26?" "You work here? You look like a kid". After a while you get sick of it and laugh it off but it really does get to me. I think this is the reason why I dont have friends.

I'm 5'2 and I love my height! I can buy whatever clothes and shoes I want. The best thing about being petite is that I can go out with tall guys.....
