...even though I used barrier creams prior to applying camoflage cream most of the time the creams go an orange colour - how do I stop this happening as well?

shave your arms and almay makes a spray for legs to cover vericose viens and stuff. covers good and looks natural, doesnt rub off

This is officially the strangest question I have heard so far. I would just shave the hair off if it's causing problems but I'm not sure about the orange colour. Why don't you just wear a long sleeve shirt?

I've never tried it myself I'm afraid, but would talcum powder help perhaps...

I think the orange colour is the result of the cream drying out a bit - normal concealer tends to go orangey when it dries, so it's wise to pick one that is slightly too pale for your skin, then when it dries, it might be less noticable.
