Is the character Serena Katz better than Carmen Diaz,Who is the main female character in FAME-Musical?

I got Serena's Part but I really want a part that will stand out. Is Carmen's part better? In Fame?

Carmen's part is the main part out of the two, but that doesn't mean you won't stand out. If you act better playing Serena and have been cast better than Carmen (e.g. if the person playing Carmen isn't so good, or isn't right for the role), then you will stand out in a good way. Better than standing out as 'Carmen' if you're not suited to the part.
