I use to work at the Sanford - Orlando Airport. Here is some advise...

1. Thomas Cook - gives you a bottle of water & a CLEAN PILLOW with every flight. They have better seating (Coach has more leg room than some other flights). They are the 2nd cleanest planes.

2. My Travel - Seats are small, plane is usually not all the way clean, they re-use a LOT of pillows & blankets (1st class is always new)

3. Maonarch - VERY CLEAN

4. Virgin (747) - They run out of blankets & pillows alot. They re-use all pillows & blankets, plenty of room

I use to help with cleaning the planes & jetways.
If I was flying, I would choose Thomas Cook or Monarch.

I flew Sanford-Iceland and it is a much smaller airport than Orlando so security lines are better, customs is faster. It's a little further from where you will likely stay in Orlando, but the convenience of a smaller airport might be worth it to you.

I am flying with Fly Globe Span in October into Sanford. Never flown with them before, but would say Monarch are pretty good. We flew into Sanford last year with Continential Airlines would not use again. Not enough room plus staff not very helpful especially if you have small children
