What do you think about so called black leaders, such as Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, etc.
Do you think they are just making it worse for blacks? Better yet, do you think they are more racist themselves than any one else?
All races please answer, just wondering what the actual black people thought and what other races thought.

My impression of the two mentioned remains the same for many years.. they tend to incite a victim mentality, somewhat askance to another who tries to suggest individual empowerment (Bill Cosby).

I hear the thing they say about them, but I never heard them speak. The way people talk about them as if they are ALWAYS in the Media. The only time I seen AL was on the movie "Malcolm X" and Jesse is school when he ran for President. They are not leaders for blacks but what they teach I don't know becuase I never seen it.

But I do know that Part of the role of a "leader" is to speak out about what's happening and to speak the truth as they've experienced it.

And I know that it's some of the things they talk about, If what they say is true then I have no problem with it. I think they focus their attention on white than Blacks with is why white people always have a opinion on these two, and that's why I never heard them.

Sharpton and Jackson have elected themselves as leaders for the black Americans. I don't believe the main populace of blacks look to those two men for leadership.
