Yes if you put your new CD-Rom in the comp and put in the new code number on the back of your ipod, this will let you keep all the tracks you have on itunes and download them to your new ipod too - which it will now reconise when you plug it into your comp.

Yes you can, however i dont think you can transfer your songs onto that new ipod w/out downloading them again (That is, if you downloaded them through limewire or whatnot instead of itunes..i dont use itunes to download so i cant help there! lol)

yea u can you can even personalise it with itunes when u plug it in it should come up in itunes if u've set itunes to open when a ipod is plugged in
