That holding a light saber makes you fell like a powerful dork. Everytime I pick one up, even if it is just a toy, I get that feeling.

obviously your an ex star wars geek or maybe you still are. You must have watched those movies one too many times. When ever i pick one of those light sabers up i don't feel like a 'powerful dork'.

I kinda know what you mean. But I don't know anybody who has a light sabre.

A chap I know collects samurai type swords. He has loads of the things ranging from dirt cheap to amazingly expensive. Not that he's a samurai or anything himself, he's just got a sword thing going on.

Anyhow!

Every time somebody picks one up (myself included) what do they do?

Yep. They turn in to Captain Blood, or some kind of ninja turtle or something and start waving the things about.

I swear, somebody's gonna get decapitated one of these days, or lose a limb; some of those things are sharp as razors!

Afraid not, Red. Having grown up with John Wayne, Randolph Scott, and Audie Murphy, what gives me that rush of authority and power is a cap pistol in each hand. Whoa, big fellow.

What do you mean, 'even if it's just a toy'? A toy as opposed to a real one? lol WATCH OUT!!! Actually, I've never had the pleasure of holding one. Am I missing out?

Because you have watched the Star Wars movies far too many times, which causes you to get that thrill, but also realize from where that thrill is derived--a sci-fi movie. It is ok. Feel as powerfully dorky as you want!

Hey, Ludo, I didn't think you were a violent beast. Did the Goblin King get to you that bad?
