Should I tell one to come back later? Seat them at opposite ends of the couch? Maybe find a good meaningful activity everyone can participate in? (I've got Yahtzee upstairs)

Here's what you do. Call up a friend and tell him that you've got a double date all set up. They'll be a little akwardness at first but you could go somewhere real swanky and upper class like say, the Olive Garden, I'm sure you could discuss Philosphy around a nice bottle of vino tinto. Later you could take the party back to your place for a little Twister or something.

Just keep Satan (or Luc as we affectionately call him) away from your liquor cabinet and any small pets. Last time he was here we had a most unfortunate incident involving a large bottle of vermouth and a pet chihuahua...
Actually dito for Christ, though he'll probably just go straight to your fridge and help himself to your snackfoods. He still lives with his dad, so has a bit of growing up to do and still thinks he's at a parent's place.
My advice would be just to try and give them space - they have a lot to talk about and it might do the world some good if they resolve some of thier issues. If it looks like it's coming to blows, stick Satan under a cold shower (he'll be hammered by then) and call a cab for Christ (he still doesn't have his liscence). The make a nice cup of tea and congratulate yourself on saving the world from Armageddon once again. It's what I usually do anyway...

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

I recommend poker instead of Yahtzee*.
You can sit the game out and count the aces to keep everyone honest.
I can hear them now... "I’ll see your two saints… and raise you two sinners and one pope…”

*you probably want to loan Jesus a pair of sunglasses =)
